The window to raise objection will open on February 22 and close on February 25. To raise objections against the answer key, students will have to use their login details such as enrollment ID and password on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).

After considering every challenge raised by candidates, the IISc will release the GATE 2024 final answer key along with the results. Students will also be able to analyse their overall performance in the exam and calculate the probable scores with the help of the answer key and the marking scheme. The exam consists of a negative marking for incorrect responses — a third of the score is deducted for every one-mark MCQ while two-thirds of the marks are deducted for every two-mark MCQ. There is no deduction for incorrect MSQ and NAT responses.
