When Taylor Swift Got Into Two Car Accidents: 'I Was Trying To Drive My Best'
Taylor Swift confessed on The Graham Norton Show that she was involved in two accidents while working on a Rolling Stone cover story with a journalist inside the car.

Taylor Swift is currently enjoying her successes at this year’s VMAs. The singer won some of the most prestigious titles at the awards show. But did you know the famous singer crashed her car twice? Yes, you heard that right. Taylor Swift revealed on the Graham Norton Show that she met with two accidents while working on a Rolling Stone cover story with the reporter seated with her inside the car. The singer mentioned that she was quite excited about the cover story and wanted to drive the journalist to the best of her ability, yet the mishaps took place.

During one of her Graham Norton Show interviews, she narrated that when Rolling Stone does a cover story, their format is a little different. The journalist hangs out with you for a couple of days. One drives them around and goes for lunch. She mentioned, “It’s, like, a thing and it was a huge deal for me to have a cover of Rolling Stone. It still is, like, for me, that’s like, ‘Ohhh.’ Like, it’s a big angel singing moment, so of course, I was just like, ‘Be your best self today’ [and] like, ‘If you’re going to drive, you drive the best you’ve driven.”

But the cover story did not turn out as she planned. Taylor Swift added, “I got in two car accidents with him in the car. One was my fault, one was not. One was an ‘I’m sorry,’ the second was a ‘You’re welcome; I saved your life.’”

Taylor Swift went on to narrate that she was worried after they pulled up on the side. Later the singer stated that the journalist yelled, ” ‘I have a new baby at home!’ And I was like, this is not gonna be a good cover story for me.”

Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, and Sophie Turner were on the couch on Graham Norton’s show when the singer made these revelations, and all the guests seemed surprised.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift swept the VMAs, taking home nine awards, including video and song of the year for “Anti-Hero.”, Artist of the year, Best Direction among others. Reportedly, the film Eras Tour will be released in theatres in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The film is said to be based on footage from Taylor Swift’s first three gigs at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The next leg of the tour is set for October in Miami.
