The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit card for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2024 for private applicants. Students who have enrolled as private candidates can visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.gov.in to check and download their admit card. To download the admit card, CBSE private candidates need to log in with their application number previous roll number/year, or candidate name on the official website.

The CBSE Class 10 board regular exam is scheduled to begin on February 15 and end on March 13 whereas the exams for Class 12 will be conducted on February 15 and will run until April 2. The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams will be held by the board in a single shift. It will start at 10:30 AM and conclude at 1:30 PM. Before the commencement of the test, students will have an additional 15 minutes to read through the question paper.

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.gov.in or cbse.nic.in.

Step 2: Now, navigate to the CBSE Private Candidate 2024 section on the webpage.

Step 3: Click the link provided to download the admit card.

Step 4: A new page will open where candidates have to enter their application number or previous roll number/year or candidate name.

Step 6: Once done, the CBSE Private Candidate admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 7: Save a copy of the same and take a printout of the CBSE Private Candidate admit card for the examination day.

Students who appear for the board examinations at Central Board of Secondary Education without attending a regular school are referred to as private candidates. Both regular and private students follow the same syllabus and take equivalent exams. Upon passing the board exam, a private candidate will receive a certificate from the board without any mention that the candidate appeared as a private candidate.

Candidates must note that the CBSE admit card is an extremely important document to carry on examination day. If a candidate fails to bring their admit card on examination day, they may be barred from entering examination halls.
