The Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2024 which is scheduled to take place today, January 29 will be held at the Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The upcoming interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will commence at 11 am. The Union government organises the event each year to help students reduce exam stress and motivate them to succeed.

During this annual gathering, PM Modi shares advice and extends support to students, teachers, and parents as they navigate the challenges of exam preparation. PPC is part of the prime minister’s broader ‘Exam Warriors’ initiative. The goal is to create a relaxing environment for young people. It aims to bring together students, parents, teachers, and society to create an environment that values and supports each child’s unique qualities. This movement was inspired by the PM’s influential and popular book, ‘Exam Warriors.’

Over Two Crore Registrations

Over two crore students have registered for the seventh edition of PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 through the MyGov portal. According to the official notification, 22,631,698 students have registered for this year’s session. More than, 14 lakh teachers and 5 lakh parents have signed up for the session, as per the MyGov portal. Furthermore, almost 4,000 people will interact with the Prime Minister during the programme. A hundred students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools will attend the programme for the first time. Last year, a total of 38.80 lakh students, of which 16 lakh were from state boards, had registered for the event.

Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan recently reviewed preparations for the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha. Various school-level activities were organized nationwide between January 12 to 23. A painting competition was organized in 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas across 774 Districts, with over 60 thousand students participating on Jan 23.
