The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the fourth time to answer questions in the Delhi excise policy-related money laundering case. Gifts for Ram Temple

Ayodhya’s Ram temple received special gifts in advance of the ‘pran pratishtha’ on January 22. These gifts included a 108-foot incense stick, a 2,100-kg bell, a giant lamp weighing 1,100 kg, gold footwear, a 10-foot lock and key, and a clock that simultaneously denotes time in eight countries. PM Modi Inaugurates India’s Longest Bridge ‘Atal Setu’

On January 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is India’s longest bridge and the longest sea bridge, providing faster access to Mumbai International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport. The bridge, which cost Rs 21,200 crore to build, will also reduce travel time from Mumbai to Pune, Goa, and South India. Indian Tourist Count Drops in Maldives

The number of Indian tourists in the Maldives has decreased since PM Narendra Modi visited Lakshadweep and the controversy caused by Maldivian ministers, according to official figures. In 2023, a total of 209,198 Indians visited the Maldives, with an average of nearly 572 visitors per day. Moreover, India topped the Maldives tourist numbers chart last year, with an 11.1 per cent market share, as it did in 2022, when the majority of tourists were from India. Bengaluru CEO Allegedly Kills Son in Goa

A 39-year-old businesswoman from Bengaluru was arrested on January 8 for allegedly murdering her four-year-old son in North Goa and transporting his body to Karnataka in a bag. The accused, Suchana Seth, had checked out of the service flat in Candolim, North Goa. While cleaning the flat, a housekeeper discovered bloodstains. Seth, who had returned to Karnataka, was detained at the Aimangala police station in the Chitradurga district after the Goa Police issued an alert.
