JPSC Civil Services Exam 2023: The registration window opened on February 1 and will remain accessible until February 29, 5 PM

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination 2023. Interested candidates can submit their application forms through the official website of JPSC at jpsc.gov.in. It is to be noted that the registration window opened on February 1 and will remain accessible until February 29, 5 PM.

This recruitment drive is conducted to fill up a total of 342 positions, offering a variety of prestigious roles within the department, such as Jail Superintendent, Tax Officer, Probation Officer, Labour Superintendent and others. The students must be aware that the JPSC Preliminary exam is scheduled to be held by the commission on March 17.

A candidate should have completed the minimum age of 21 years to be eligible for the aforementioned post whereas the upper age limit for unreserved category is 35 years.

While applying for the applications, it is important to pay the registration fee to complete the process. So, applicants who belong to the unreserved category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories are required to pay a fee of Rs 100 at the time of registration while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 50.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of JPSC at jpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click to the Online Application tab.

Step 3: Then, click on the link titled ‘Civil Services Exam 202 3application’.

Step 4: If you are not registered, key in the details required and register yourself.

Step 5: Login to your account using the generated credentials, and proceed to the application process.

Step 6: Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents in the mentioned format.

Step 7: Complete the prescribed fee payment, and hit submit.

Step 8: Make sure to download the confirmation page for future reference.

JPSC Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure

The Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination comprises two successive stages: a Combined Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) and a Combined Civil Services (Main) Examination that will have a written exam followed by the interview round for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts.

It is to be noted that the preliminary examination shall consist of two papers: General Studies-I and General Studies-II, each carrying 200 marks. The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English, and each paper will be conducted for a duration of two hours.
